Principal's Message - Brendon Napier

Dear Families,
This week’s message is shorter than usual and intentionally so. In light of the deep tragedy our community experienced last week, I want to acknowledge the pain felt across our school and parish family. I thank each and every one of you for the way you have come together in love and support, wrapping around one another with compassion and strength.
The family directly affected has asked for only one thing; to keep them in your thoughts and prayers and so I ask you to do just that. Sometimes, in the face of loss, it’s not our words that bring comfort but our quiet presence, our prayer, and our gentle acts of kindness.
Moments like these remind us to hold our loved ones a little closer, to speak words of love more often, and to be grateful for the ordinary moments we so easily take for granted.
Having been lucky enough to have been Principal of Our Lady Help of Christians now for over a year, I can say without hesitation that what sets our school apart is our extraordinary sense of community. The way you engage with and care for one another not just in joyful moments, but in heartbreaking ones is a powerful testament to our shared values.
“Bear one another’s burdens, and so you will fulfill the law of Christ.” – Galatians 6:2
I look forward to seeing you around the school, whether at Mestrez Gate or the Balaclava entrance. As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Respect, Love, Mercy and Community
God Bless
Brendon Napier
