Principal's Message - Brendon Napier

Hello Families,

It’s hard to believe we are already in Week 3 of Term 2. With the recent run of short weeks due to public holidays, it’s felt like a staggered start to the term. However, we are now well and truly into the rhythm of school life, with learning and some laughter.

Thank you to all the families who continue to work in partnership with us in supporting their children. Your involvement, encouragement, and trust are what make our community so special. I encourage you to join us for our P&F meeting next Tuesday at 5:15pm in the STEM Lab. It’s a great way to stay connected and informed and yes, there will be free pizza and drinks for all attendees!

This Friday, we are very much looking forward to our Mother’s Day celebrations. It is always a beautiful occasion that brings our community together in appreciation of the extraordinary women in our children’s lives.

As we move further into the term, please continue to speak with your children about the importance of following our school expectations. These shared understandings create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where every student can thrive, both in their learning and in their play.

We also remind families to monitor their children’s use of online platforms. While Kids Messenger can be a safe and helpful way for children to stay connected, it should be used under adult supervision and with kindness and respect. Please also be aware that primary school-aged children should not have their own TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, or similar accounts, as these platforms have age restrictions in place for important safety and developmental reasons.

“So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.”
1 Thessalonians 5:11

I look forward to seeing you around the school, whether at Mestrez Gate or the Balaclava entrance. As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Respect, Love, Mercy and Community

God Bless
