Hello Families,

Welcome to 2025!

I hope you all had a joyful Christmas break, filled with special moments with your loved ones. I trust the recent long weekend was a wonderful way to cap off the holidays and prepare for the year ahead.

There has been a great deal of activity behind the scenes over the past few weeks to ensure that your child’s start to the school year is as smooth and positive as possible. Reflecting on how strongly we ended 2024, I feel an incredible sense of excitement about the year ahead. I am confident that together, we will achieve even greater things in 2025.

As we start on this new school year, I would like to remind our families that everyday counts. Each school day is an opportunity for growth, learning, and connection. I also want to acknowledge the important partnership we share in educating your children. Parents are a child’s first teacher, we as educators are their second, and the environment plays a significant role as their third. When families work alongside us and support the learning journey, we see the best outcomes for our students.  Something that we are doing different to start the year off is our teachers will be using the first three days to build relationships and set the expectations for the year ahead and not focussing on core curriculum until next week.

I am looking forward to seeing everyone’s faces on Wednesday and beginning this exciting new chapter together. Thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of supporting your children, and I pray for a year filled with growth, success, and blessings for all.

As we step into this new beginning, let us keep these words from the Gospel of Luke in our hearts:
"For with God, nothing will be impossible." (Luke 1:37)

May we approach 2025 with faith, hope, and determination.
